Die US-Ausstrahlung ist unter aller Sau, zerhackstückt wie man's sonst nur aus Deutschland kennt!
Es gibt ein Review in der Imdb, das das ganz gut zusammenfasst:
Anybody who watches "Sailor Moon" on American TV is not getting the whole picture. In 1995, DiC, a North American animation company, bought the rights to make a dubbed version of the popular Anime for the North American viewing audience. Fearing that some of the content of the original series would anger various special interest groups, they edited the series, heavily. Examples of this include death of the main characters, reincarnation and rebirth, homosexuality, and romance. All four of these subjects actually happened in the original Japanese series, but they were big no-no's across the Pacific. So, the main characters were captured, a miracle occurred, men became women, and tender moments became stupid comments. Anybody who thinks that the English dub is great should get a hold of some fansubs (subtitled episodes) and experience the beauty that is Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon.
