  Released in 2011, Kurosawa's Way is a fifty-two-minute documentary directed by Kurosawa's longtime translator Catherine Cadou, who interviews eleven major film directors on how Kurosawa's films have influenced their own work. The interviewees include Bernardo Bertolucci, Clint Eastwood, Abbas Kiarostami, Hayao Miyazaki, and Martin Scorsese (who discusses playing the role of Vincent van Gogh in Akira Kurosawa's Dreams).
