Vaiana - Das Paradies hat einen Haken (2016)

Seinerzeit in der Sneak mit meiner Liebsten begeistert geschaut, nun mit den kleinen Ergebnissen dieser wunderbaren Verbindung.
2016 war bei Disney noch halbwegs alles in Ordnung, noch kein Wandel von Wertevermittlung zu (offensichtlichem) Ideologietransfer, kein Abschweifen von den Kernkompetenzen, keine absolute Ideenlosigkeit. Entsprechend haben wir mit Vaiana den wohl letzten großen Film, über die Jahre mittlerweile sogar zum Prädikat Klassiker gereift.
Eine sympathische Hauptheldin, ohne negativen Beigeschmack, eine wunderbare Geschichte mit Tiefe, charismatische Nebenfiguren, davon eine Menge, Abwechslung, Fantasie, einfach pure Magie. Dazu ein großartiger Soundtrack mit vielen Ohrwürmern. Kurz das, was man von Disney erwartet. Einst erwartet hat.

At the time I watched it enthusiastically in the sneak preview with my sweetheart, now with the small results of this wonderful connection.
In 2016, everything was still halfway okay at Disney, no change from conveying values to (obvious) ideological transfer, no digression from core competences, no absolute lack of ideas. Accordingly, Vaiana is probably the last great film, and over the years it has even matured into a classic.
A likeable main heroine, without any negative flavour, a wonderful story with depth, charismatic supporting characters, lots of them, variety, fantasy, simply pure magic. Plus a great soundtrack with lots of catchy tunes. In short, what you expect from Disney. Once expected.
