Ein süßes Paar, ein lauschiger Trip, eine langweilige Romanze!? Zum Glück nicht, alles kommt anders und immer wieder mit Überraschungen. Dazu die Komponente Spannung, auch wenn das der Zuschauer in dem Format vermutlich nicht erwartet hätte. Ein Genre-Wanderer sozusagen. Für Unterhaltung ist auf jeden Fall gesorgt und die Chemie der zwei charmanten Protagonisten ist von Anfang an das große Zugpferd. Als Hintergrund zeigt uns Regisseurin Sophie Brooks ein authentisches und damit eher trauriges Bild von jungen Beziehungen in der aktuellen Zeit, inklusive dem teilweise sehnsüchtigem Aufbegehren nach der klassischen Liebe. Was würde besser dazu passen als eine wunderbare Hommage von "Islands in the Stream" von Dolly Parton und Kenny Rogers, ich habe es geliebt.
