Hinweis der BBFC zur Schlangen-Tötungsszene

Previous film and home entertainment versions of the film were subject to cuts on animal cruelty grounds in regard to a scene in which a snake's head is apparently pulled off. This version* was submitted with the scene restored, along with an explanation from the film-maker that although part of the scene was filmed with a live snake, it was a dead reptile from which the head was torn. The onscreen evidence accords with these assurances and consequently this version of the work was passed uncut.
