Cantonese & Mandarin audio choices.
Although Cantonese is the default, the subtitles are for the Mandarin version.
White Chinese/English subs burned into the print. Hard to read occasionally.

Info on Cast Member Andy Lau.
If you don't have this on DVD, and want it, get it.
If you do already have the original issue of this on DVD, should you get this? Well, here is comparison of the two....
They both use the same exact subtitles-on-the-print print.
Checking the bit rate revealed that the re-issue is a new transfer however, with a slightly higher bit rate. Using my naked eye I didn't notice any obvious improvement in picture quality, but it must be there.
Audio-wise, they both have the same 2 channel mono.
Subtitle-wise they're both White Chinese/English burned in subs for the Mandarin audio.
Menu-wise, the old version was sluggish to respond, the re-issue responds like it should.
The old menu had 3 options: On Air, Cantonese, Mandarin.
The new menu has 4 options: On Air, Chapters, Star files, Languages:
The Chapter menu uses running video clips for 8 chapters.
The star files is for Andy Lau only.
Languages selects Cantonese or Mandarin.
Chapter-wise the old version had 10 distinct chapters, no menu for them, but it had them. The re-issue has 9 chapters, but chapter 1 becomes chapter 2 instantly so it only has 8 distinct chapters.
